Important Pair Of 17th Century Period Armchairs.
Simplicity and elegance define this beautiful pair of armchairs with wide armrests, resting on a small baluster base. The seat and back are upholstered in leather bands secured with large star-headed iron nails. Made of walnut. One side rail has been restored and one rear leg has been repaired. Catalonia, early 17th century. The chairs are stable and in excellent condition.
