Carved Walnut Wood Panel From The 18th Century
Superb and large carved wooden panel from the 18th century. Rectangular in shape, this large wooden panel depicts, like a coat of arms, two lions surrounded by acanthus leaves and holding a wreath of flowers composed of vine leaves, daisies, etc. In the center are two angels and a ciborium beneath which are two keys and an angel's head. A finely chiseled symbolic work, undoubtedly formerly a chest panel. A high-quality piece in good condition, very decorative.
