Pair of Louis XV gilt bronze candelabra, 75 cm tall. They are signed underneath: BM for Blaise Millet. He opened his cabinetmaking workshop in the Faubourg Saint-Antoine around 1857, on Rue Saint-Sabin. He made a model for the famous collector Linke, specializing in artistic bronzes and luxury furniture in antique styles. His firm received medals at the Universal Expositions of 1889 (Chicago) and 1893 (St. Louis).
