Louis XV Chest Of Drawers, Jean Desforges Stamp. 18th Century Period
Louis He had made a specialty of Furniture, almost exclusively Chests of Drawers. Our Chest of Drawers opens on the front with 2 leaves, with its original lock which closes with a key, and two bolts which block the second leaf. The bottom belt is scalloped in shape. It is topped with its marble, a real stone surrounded by a cavet all around. It rests on slightly arched feet, shod with Regency clogs. It measures 104 CM in length, 52 Cm in depth and 83.5 CM in height. It is in very good condition.
