The chest rests on compressed bun feet and is fitted with a large iron lockplate, decorative escutcheon, and side handles for easy transport. The surface is veneered in walnut and adorned with intricate floral marquetry, enhancing its refined aesthetic. The lid is secured by a sturdy link chain. The primary wood is spruce.
