"Bust Of A Woman "candor" By Julien Caussé"
Born into a family of sculptors, Julien Caussé was greatly inspired by the Art Nouveau movement. He created many lamps and sculptures in this artistic style, his favorite subject being women. This sculpture, entitled "Candor," perfectly reflects the almost naive innocence of this young woman surrounded by flowers. This bust, unlike most of the artist's works, is made of iron with a very dark patina and rests on a square base of griotte marble. Base dimensions: approximately 20 cm square. Note some minor color losses. Information and additional photos available upon request.
