Superb oil on canvas depicting a fairground with its traveling performers. Original composition with vibrant and soft colors, a beautiful painting, well framed and in superb condition! "Painter and watercolorist in Agen, son of the great French architect Victor Rabu (1835-1907). He was a student of François Mainville, painting the old quarters and life of Agen. He participated in the Salon des Artistes Français in 1886 and contributed to the organization of numerous artistic events in Agen. He was Secretary General of the Universal Exhibition of 1899. The Agen Museum of Fine Arts holds several watercolors by this artist." A retrospective exhibition was held in Agen in 2013.
