A ceramist of German origin, originally from Furtwangen, he designed important models for the earthenware factory, becoming a key figure in the production of Wasmuël, managed by Auguste Mouzin et Cie (AMC). He is famous for his majolica pieces, a glazed earthenware with bright colors. Bulldogs: His earthenware bulldogs, often used as umbrella stands or walking stick holders, are highly sought after. The front paw is broken, though not very noticeably, and the rear paw is glued on. The collar ring is missing.
