A beautiful pair of carved and molded walnut armchairs. Cabriolet backs, gadrooned and grooved pediments. Heart-shaped moldings, fluted column uprights. Armrests with cuffs and rosettes, fluted baluster supports with foliate decoration. Crossbars with heart-shaped molding and rosette finials. Fluted tapered legs. Upholstered in yellow fabric (wear and stains, one hole in the seat). Circa 1900. Overall height 86 cm, seat height 43 cm, width 60 cm, seat depth 48 cm.
