Walnut Veneered Side Table With Inlays (late 19th - Early 20th Century)
This elegant side table is a fine example of cabinet-making from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Constructed with a Walnut veneer, it features a warm, rich grain that enhances its overall form.
The top and the three front drawers (one central and two smaller side drawers) are embellished with refined geometric and floral inlays made of Maple and Mahogany, creating a delicate chromatic contrast.
The sinuous and curved legs (cabriole legs) lend lightness and grace to the piece, terminating in small bronze or brass sabots. A beautiful ornamental detail is provided by the chased metal appliqués located on either side of the central drawer.
Perfect as a living room side table, entrance console, or luxury nightstand, this piece is ideal for adding a touch of historical and sophisticated charm to any room.
