Earthenware plate with a high-fire glaze and white slip.
`Contoured rim with patriotic polychrome decoration.
In the center, on a mound, a cherub wearing a tricolor sash presents a sign inscribed: "W la liberté" (W for Liberty)
hanging from a Liberty Tree.
The tree is topped with a Phrygian cap with a tricolor ribbon.
A flag completes the scene.
On the rim, double lines and a beaded frieze.
The "W" in Nevers means "Vive" (Long Live).
Diameter: 22.5 cm
Very slight chips.
