Elegant set of four silver hors d’oeuvre utensils by Henry Gabert, a Parisian silversmith active in the late 19th century.
Each piece was designed for a specific purpose:
– a pierced spoon for pickled foods,
– a small fork for appetizers,
– a delicately shaped knife for pâtés and spreads,
– a petite serving blade for fine sweets.
The silver handles (1st standard) feature refined raised decoration with soft scrolls and elegant cartouches, typical of Parisian craftsmanship of the period.
