"Pair Of Solid Silver Vases, East India, 19th Century"
Pair of vases with engraved and repoussé decoration. The decoration depicts Hindu deities dancing in various poses.
Some hold attributes and are represented in cartouches at the top and bottom. In the central section, the deities dance among trees of different species.
These two vases have a decoration almost identical to that of the large bowl we are also offering here and selling separately.
Some minor imperfections.
Solid silver, gross weight: 467.2 grams.
