Pair of
carved wooden candlesticks, painted in tempera and gilded with pure gold leaf,
crafted with agate for added brilliance. The candlesticks feature a turned
amphora-shaped stem, decorated with geometric motifs, and feature four arms and
four respective burners, complete with iron candle holders. This pair of
candlesticks exudes great taste and refinement, adding a touch of class and
antique appeal to any space. Made in central Italy, from the Louis
XVI-Neoclassical period, around the second half of the 18th century.
