"Late 18th-early 19th Century Engraved Murano Glass Vase"
Elegant
Murano glass vase, embellished with refined engravings. The vase is
chalice-shaped, with an everted rim, a ringed base, and a molded foot. The
uniqueness and elegance of this vase lie in the engraved decorations, both on
the body and the base, featuring floral motifs. On the front, there is also a
small lunette depicting a scene: a reclining nude figure, likely the god
Bacchus, while in front of him, a satyr, depicted in three-quarter view, offers
him a bunch of grapes. This vase, of great taste and refinement, will add a
touch of class to any setting. Venetian Murano manufacture, late 18th-early
19th century.
