Marble Clover Platter, 19th Century
Frankly, a spectacular clover-shaped dish, made of marble, from southern Italy, 19th century. Unusual shape, of rare elegance. I own a pair, so this might interest someone... I think it's a dish used in cathedrals, churches... chapels. It could serve as a bowl, fruit bowl, trinket dish... truly functional.
