A Louis XV style cartel mantel clock in chased and gilt bronze. The dial, under a domed glass, features black Roman numerals on a white background and is adorned with openwork gilt brass hands. The clock is richly decorated with foliate scrolls, acanthus leaves, and musical instruments, all resting on a flowing openwork base and terminating in a finial adorned with two lion heads and rings. This clock retains its original gilding, pendulum movement, and key. It has been fully serviced and cleaned by our watchmaker and is in perfect working order. Sold with its two winding keys.
