"Early 19th Century Carved And Gilded Wooden Tabernacle "
Large, trapezoidal tabernacle in gilded carved wood. It is adorned with interlacing acanthus leaves, embellished on the doors with sheaves of wheat and bunches of grapes. The architecturally structured façade is decorated with two fluted columns surmounted by Corinthian capitals. Above the door is a sculpted angel's head. The central double doors open onto a painted interior space decorated with angels and closed by curtains. Some old restorations. Early 19th century.
