Powder Flask , Scallop Shell, Black Leather With Fleur-de-lis, 18th Century, Mint Condition.
Beautiful little pocket powder compact, covered by incised black leather. On flat side, within a shield, are about forty small fleur-de-lis applied with hot iron; the other side is molded in a shell shape.
This lovely French 18th-century object is as new: never used!
