"16th-century Bruges Tapestry"
Flemish tapestry in wool and silk depicting the betrothal of Gombault and Macée. The young couple, adorned in their respective regalia, hold hands in the presence of a shepherd.
A copy exists in the Museum of Art and History of Saint-Lô (Bruges, last quarter of the 16th – first third of the 17th century). Bruges, late 16th century.
