"Haarlem Faience Bowl (netherlands), Mid-17th Century"
A lobed-rimmed bowl on a low foot, made of Haarlem faience (Netherlands), decorated in polychrome within a central medallion of a cherub holding a globe surmounted by a cross, surrounded by grotesques. The rim features a yellow frieze streaked with ochre and manganese.
Attributed to Willem Jansz Verstraeter.
Circa 1640-1660, mid-17th century.
