Late 19th-century French Samson Enamel Snuff Box, Signed
A late 19th-century French Samson enamel snuff box, of cartouche form, the lid decorated with a yellow, purple, green, and red flower spray on a white enamel background, the body and base in pink enamel, the interior white enamel, with patinated brass mounts.
Marks: Samson crossed S’s mark to the underside of the lid.
Measurements: 5.5cm (2.2in) wide, 3cm (1.2in) deep, 3cm (1.2in) high.
Condition: Excellent. The dark line on the left of the lid was surface dirt and has been removed. The small indentation in the pink enamel of base appears to be original. No other issues found
