Georges Paul Masure was an artist born in the 19th century and died in the 20th century, associated with the Montparnasse school. He participated in several art salons in the early 20th century. Particularly influenced by Japonism, he created precise and exquisitely detailed decorative works. A larger painting by him fetched €46,000 at auction (see photos).
