"Pair Of Thonet Armchairs, Model 511 "
The pieces in series 511 are among the most elegant Art Nouveau furniture ever produced by Gebrüder Thonet. Even today, the designer's identity remains unknown. Marcel Kammerer • It is certainly not Josef Hoffmann, since at that time he was accepting commissions. One of the chairs bears a trace of a Thonet label. Provenance: collection of an architect in Budapest, after a Brussels collection. The condition is good. The Thonet labels are not present on the two armchairs.
