Large Hand-blown Glass Pitcher With 18th-century Application, Circa 1770, French
One of the largest I've found!
Blown glass, worked while hot...
And an applied handle...
In perfect condition, just perhaps a few imperfections (bubbles in the glass) which are charming traces of the glassmaker, reflecting the period of manufacture!
And a few scratches from use!
From the 18th century, around 1770...
French production...
Perhaps from the Southwest!
It holds at least 5 liters!
Slightly taller on one side, with a difference of 0.6 centimeters...
Weight... 1.772 kg
