Pair of armchairs in natural wood and faux leather. 20th century.
Their stained wood frame has a dark finish and visible grain, giving them a warm appearance.
The seat cushions are covered in dark brown faux leather with a grained texture and decorative upholstery tacks (intact).
Very comfortable and bouncy seat (seat height: 42 cm).
Their backs are high and slightly curved for added comfort. A small arched cutout in the upper rail. A central, vertical, openwork geometric pattern typical of the Arts and Crafts style.
Thick and sturdy armrests offering good support. Square legs that taper slightly towards the bottom. Perfect stability. A charm that is both rustic and elegant.
Note a small piece of missing wood on the corner of one molding and some signs of wear on the wood in places (see photo).
