JOURDAN – Modern table with cast iron base and marble top, France, 20th century. Patinated cast iron, marble. Bois Jourdan. H. 71.5 cm – W. 200 cm – D. 100 cm. Rectangular table with a Bois Jourdan marble top, resting on a patinated cast iron base with a scroll motif. The wrought iron structure consists of two scrolled side supports connected by a central crossbar. The top displays rich veining in shades of brown, pink, and gray. Signs of wear to the base, some marks on the marble.
