Duvelleroy Fan "the Cute One" Signed A. Robida
Duvelleroy fan "Le Mignon" signed A. Robida. The leaf is made of printed canvas in shades of gray. The design features three architectural monuments by Robida for the 1900 Universal Exhibition. It also depicts a gentleman from the period of Henry II playing music for two ladies. It is signed by Albert Robida in the lower left corner and named "Le Mignon" next to it. It was made by Duvelleroy, as indicated on the back of the fan, around 1900. There is some yellowing of the fabric where the lacquered wooden ribs are joined. Dimensions: Length 45 cm, Height 24 cm
