The male figure is winged; he is likely Eros (Cupid), the god of love, beauty, temperance, and tenderness.
The carving rests on a tripod base made of green-patinated bronze, decorated with satyr heads.
Direct wiring; no switch. It is in working order. The shell unscrews from the base to allow access to the light bulb.
