Battery Telescope 1898
Model 1898 battery sight on a tripod. These sights allowed for the measurement of the angular deviations of opposing troops, thus providing precise measurements and graduations to Allied guns for accurate targeting. Marked "M le 1898" and "1555" on the brass sight. The optics function perfectly and require no repair. The wooden legs are also in very good condition.
