Hubert Agostini was born in Marseille in 1935 and died in 2021. A post-Cubist painter, he studied at the Marseille School of Fine Arts from 1948 to 1955. In the foreground, a carafe and a pear rest on a small table; in the background, a window frame and an easel are visible. Hubert Agostini is listed in the "Bénézit" dictionary of French art.
