"Set Of 13 Pewter Ridge Finials, French Work, Early 20th Century"
A rare set of thirteen pewter ridge finials, comprising four pairs and five single pieces. These architectural ornaments, with their varied and elegantly shaped silhouettes, demonstrate traditional roofing craftsmanship, likely French, dating from the early 20th century. The geometric and spherical forms, sometimes highlighted with floral motifs or wreaths, reflect an ornamental repertoire typical of older roofs. Natural patinas, some traces of oxidation, and one piece will require restoration (soldering). Heights: from 68 cm to 131 cm.
