Louis XIV Style Mirror With Parcloses, Circa 1870
A Louis XIV style mirror with ebonized wood and rich repoussé and gilt copper decoration, circa 1870. The pediment is adorned with an eagle with outstretched wings and flowers. The central beveled glass mirror has a double frame of carved wood and copper floral friezes, embellished at the corners with spandrels decorated with acanthus leaves. In very good condition.
