Omega watch, model 2482, from 1947 (precisely dated by its serial number).
Equipped with the automatic bumper movement, Calibre 332, with 17 jewels and a power reserve of approximately 36 hours. Large 80-micron gold-filled case, 37.5mm in diameter excluding the crown, 39mm including the crown, 45mm lug to lug.
Rare "cow horn" lugs.
Snap-on case back.
Applied gold hands and hour markers on a superb ivory white dial in perfect condition.
The movement was recently cleaned and is in perfect working order.
The watch is entirely gold-plated (front and back, see photos), 80 microns, creating a perfect illusion of a solid gold watch! Hallmark on the upper left lug (see photo).
The watch is entirely original and in excellent condition.
Minor scratches are normal for a watch of this age and are much less visible in person than in photos.
The crown plating is tarnished, including the Omega logo.
The markings are almost completely worn (see photo).
Sold with a new, high-quality brown calfskin leather strap with an ostrich-like finish and its original Omega tang buckle.
The lizard strap shown in some photos is very worn and has been worn for years on different watches.
Lug width: 18mm.
Keeps perfect time, in very good working order.
