"Bronze Sculpture – Max II Hardl"
An elegant patinated bronze female figure depicting a standing woman holding a book. The refined modeling, the verticality of the silhouette, and the gentle expression are characteristic of early 20th-century Viennese aesthetics. The incised signature reads Max II Hardl, a sculptor active in Vienna. The piece also bears a Viennese foundry mark ("WIEN") with a workshop symbol. Mounted on a circular black stone base. Very good overall condition, even patina.
