18th-century Landscape Painting, School Of Hubert Robert
An 18th-century painting under glass depicting a southern landscape. A very charming and lively scene with figures on a bridge in a landscape, perhaps Italy, dominated by a castle. The painting is beautifully rendered with lovely light and soft, yet vibrant colors in a neoclassical style reminiscent of Hubert Robert. The artist's delicate execution is noteworthy, while maintaining a sense of naturalness and simplicity. It is in excellent condition and retains its original giltwood frame. Dimensions (framed): 41.5 x 34 cm. This rare work in such fine condition would be a prized addition to any collection. Shipping is available within France and worldwide via secure, insured package with order tracking. Collection is possible in person at the Avallrich estate in Montescot (T 0611142533, 66200) or at my stand at the Montpellier Cipolat fair, held every two months, on the market terrace.
