"18th-century Chinese Porcelain Plate, Famille Rose "
A very fine 18th-century Chinese porcelain plate from the Qianlong Emperor period, in the famille rose style. This plate, 22.8 cm in diameter, features a central decoration of pink peonies. The rim is decorated with motifs of fish, scrolls, etc. The intense pink glazes are very well preserved. This is a very fine example of famille rose. There is a restoration on the rim (visible when held up to the light), and a hairline crack in the center of the back of the plate.
