Infantry Officer's Saber, Model 1845
Chiseled hilt adorned with a floral design and beautiful remnants of gilding, blackened buffalo horn grip with filigree, finely stamped blade with a hollowed edge and fuller, marked on the spine: "Manuf de Klingenthal Couleaux Ainé et Cie". Length 78.5 cm. Leather scabbard with two mounts, chape ending in a steel button (small tear between the two mounts), otherwise very good overall condition.
