19th century. The double-headed eagle, or double-headed eagle, is a symbol found in heraldry. The oldest representations of the double-headed eagle appear in the 3rd millennium BC. Several Orthodox monarchies subsequently adopted it (Serbia, Russia, etc.), as well as Catholic monarchies, including the Holy Roman Empire and the Habsburg Monarchy in Central Europe.
