Louis XVI Style Bronze "end-of-table" Candlesticks With Double Patina
A pair of 15cm high "end-of-table" candlesticks, dating from the early 19th century in the Louis XVI style, made of bronze with a double patina. They rest on a finely chased circular base adorned with a row of pearls, heart-shaped motifs, and carved gadroons, the mercury gilding of which contrasts with the striated brown patina of the stem. An acanthus rosette holds the twisted candle holder. The bobeches are made of smooth bronze. Composed of six elements, they are signed BV. Very good overall condition.
