Oil on wood panel, signed lower left by Auguste Pégurier said "the first painter of Saint Tropez". The artist has wonderfully represented the characteristic luminosity of the South in this view of a district of Saint Tropez. The artist was a student of Cormon at the Julian Academy in Paris, some of these works are kept at the Musée d'Orsay. This painting is presented in its original gilded frame and is located on the back: Saint Tropez, a corner of the construction site and countersigned.
