Venetian Lacquered Wooden Chair, 18th Century
A graceful yellow lacquered chair, finely decorated in polychrome with floral racemes in relief using pastiglia, a technique commonly used in Venice at the time. It features a sinuous line with a scallop backrest decorated with the figure of a young lady. The seat is made of straw. In good condition, consistent with its age and use.
