Empire Secretary Desk In Walnut With Black Marble Top
Empire period secretary desk in walnut and burr walnut, early 19th century. The front opens with four drawers and a drop-front revealing a charming internal theater. Three drawers are located in the lower section, and one drawer is positioned beneath the marble top. The applied columns terminate in cylindrical feet. The Empire black marble top is in excellent condition. Inside the theater, there are four separate drawers and two secret compartments. The drop-front is covered in antique green leather with a gilt border, showing some wear. Dimensions: 146 cm high x 98 cm long x 43 cm deep
