Renaissance Fireplace Plate With Ventilation Circuit
Important Renaissance cast iron fireback. From the 17th century, firebacks became more diverse, and people began to adorn them with coats of arms. It consists of the French royal coat of arms (with three Fleurs de Lis and a crown), surrounded by two winged women. This plate has a hot air circulation conduit melted into the mass, hence its thickness of 8 cm. Very well made, from Chateau.
