"High-perched Cabinet"
High Perched Cabinet in hot-hammered and patinated wrought iron. Unique piece / contemporary creation. This wrought iron cabinet, entitled High Perched, is a sculptural creation by Germaine, whose artistic vocabulary merges geometric abstraction and poetic evocations. Entirely made of hammered wrought iron, the cabinet is distinguished by its slender lines and its extremely minimalist, almost ethereal base, which seems to levitate the cabinet in space. The latter features a bas-relief, composed of flat areas reminiscent of a metallic mosaic, in which two emblematic motifs from the artist's universe appear: a stylized, radiant sun, and a perched bird, reduced to its essential contours, a figure that is both primitive and symbolic. The patinated black surface, with its subtle nuances, reinforces the raw, mineral, almost architectural effect of the cabinet. The balance between the rigor of the structure and the poetry of the bas-relief creates a piece that is at once graphic, totemic, and profoundly contemporary. The interior includes a shelf, offering discreet and functional storage space without disrupting the overall purity of the design. Haut Perché perfectly embodies the Germaine signature: furniture that is sculpture.
