A very beautiful Qashqai satchel front, originally from Persia. On such antique satchels, only the front was decorated with stylized motifs. The back was generally simply woven in a more understated style. Wool on wool. Magnificent plant-based dyes in a masterful and extremely appealing harmony. The hand-spun wool is wonderfully soft.
