Beautiful watercolor engraving "The Troubadour Playing Six Instruments" from the series "Le Bon Genre," plate no. 86, drawn in 1815 and published in 1817, by Pierre Joseph Antoine de la Mésangère (1761-1830). This engraving illustrates the period of the occupation of Paris by the victorious armies after the French defeat at Waterloo. It is held in several important museums, including the British Museum and the Musée de la Ville de Paris. Condition: A few small chips to the frame, otherwise good overall condition.
