Still Life: Cloisonné Enamel Vase Of Flowers And Bunch Of Grapes In An Abstract Style Reminiscent Of G. Braque
Artist: P.i Monogramme
Presented in a simple, molded, beige lacquered frame with an ivory burlap border, this beautiful, thick, enameled copper plaque, fired in a cloisonné oven, depicts an abstract vision against a background of varying shades of light and dark, highly structured cloisonné lines. The scene, featuring a window and a light source, includes a pretty vase of flowers with touches of bright red, surrounded by fruit, including a bunch of grapes. This high-quality enamel from the 1960s is beautifully stylized in the manner of Georges Braque, very well-developed in its abstraction and marvelous colors that only enamel can reproduce. A beautiful work of art and a very decorative piece in excellent condition. A lovely wall decoration, a tasteful curiosity.
