A So-called Witch's Mirror In Gilded Wood Surmounted By An Eagle
A very beautiful gilded wooden mirror, sometimes called a witch's mirror, decorated with oak leaves. The round, convex, and distorting mirror is surrounded by a beaded border and surmounted by an eagle on its perch, its wings outstretched, ready for flight. It is complemented by a pair of gilded metal candlesticks/bobèches. I have personally restored a few areas, including the eagle's wing and the leaves. It has generous dimensions: total height 80 cm, width 62 cm, mirror diameter 28 cm, eagle height 15 cm, wings outstretched 29 cm. No shipping! Delivery is by me only and subject to a quote.
