Giltwood Mirror With Shell Motifs, Regency Period
A carved and gilded wooden mirror decorated with stylized shells, framed by foliate spandrels with a grid pattern of flowers, and an openwork pediment decorated with a palmette. The mirror is in good condition. There are some repairs to the gilding and the mirror's surface has been previously replaced. A Regency period mirror from the early 18th century.
